I didn't go to the gym today.........
 My goal was to work out at least 5 times a week and so by not going today I just added a workout to Sunday. As long as I go the next three days I am still in control. 

I am not sure why I feel so guilty for this because like I said I haven't ruined my weekly goal yet. I think its more that I am upset I didn't GET to go. I wanted to go and had planned on it. I even had my gym clothes on as I had to go to Kroger and not the gym. 
I could have put off going to Kroger until tomorrow and gotten subway and not cooked but I didn't. 

I have to plan better - basically nights I plan to work out I can't go to the grocery store. I want to be an engaged teacher and I am trying to get things in order before school starts with my new room and a ton of new activities and lesson plans but I think I need to start telling myself to leave at 4:30 at the latest. Once I get everything situated in my new room I shouldn't have to worry about needing to stay late though. JUST STAY CALM 
My friend said "You don't find time you make time"

I am all for this as long as I don't push myself too hard and become miserable. Being healthy is about feeling good not being tired and miserable. I am MAKING the time to go at least 5 times a week.

NOW here is what I did instead of Subway...

Pork Loin with green chili sauce 

 Hatch New Mexican Green Chilis are in season and Chris's mother is from New Mexico so of course we eat a ton of these. I roasted them over a flame and put them in a ziploc to steam and get the skins loose. 

While that was happening I cut up pork loin and sauteed it with olive oil, cumin, and chili powder. Then I added onion and some light beer! (beer is great flavor and tenderizes the meat)

Then I pureed the green chilis and added them to the pork and a little water. 
 Let it thicken and serve with TORTILLAS! 

 Chris's mother insists I basically scald the tortillas. 
 These were really good - 80 calories for two

Top with cilantro and eat with tortillas. This is not a stew - its almost like a green chili stew but without broth. Its just saucy pork chunks. MMM

The marketing worked on me for sure!
